For generations the Fire Kingdom has oppressed the Leaf Folk. That is until the Azure Horde arrived from the seas. At a disadvantage, the only way the Fire Kingdom can survive is by leveraging the unique abilities of the Leaf Folk, if they can make peace in time.
Micro, but there's enough there that you really COULD use it!
ReplyDeleteYa, it obviously takes superficial inspiration from Avatar (AtLA), but trying to more meaningfully integrate the elements into the geopolitics of it all. The idea actually started with thinking about how the elemental triangle system of Pokemon could have geopolitical implications if applied to an Avatar-like world.
DeleteFun. And it could pretty easily spiral out once the game begins, perhaps on making landfall the Azure Horde churn up the Mudfolk and funnel them into their fight against the Fire Kingdom. The Fire Kingdom in turn capture a number of Mudfolk and bake them into a Clay Jannisary Corp but this raises the ire of the Gigantocracy of Stone who see these new clay people as their kin.
